As the oldest and largest pellet brand in the Northeastern United States, we take a great deal of pride in the quality and craftsmanship that we put in to making our premium-grade pellets.
Founded in Acton, MA in 1992, by 2006 we expanded our brand portfolio to include Warm Front, Allegheny, and Keystone wood pellets, all manufactured within a variety of facilities throughout New England in Maine, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and New York. We're most proud of our fabrication facility located in Jaffrey, NH. This manufacturing plant has undergone repeated upgrades and now harnesses the ability to build and create machinery that advances the pellet production processes, and has evolved into a leading facility for pellet manufacturing innovation and product development.
Our stringent quality standards apply to every pellet in every bag and exceed industry standards. And while a primary goal of our company has been to constantly improve upon and evolve our premium wood pellets, one thing has never changed: our dedication to making not just the best performing wood pellets in America, but the most trusted, too.
Our Commitment to Quality
Pride in Every Pellet
Through our experience manufacturing wood pellets since 1992, we know there is a lot required in order to make a high quality pellet. Not all pellets are created equal nor do all pellets have the same burn characteristics given the range of pellet appliances available on the market. Over time, we have earned a reputation for providing consumers with a consistently performing, high-quality product.
Pellet quality is a result of the quality of the wood fiber from which it is made and the handling of that material in the pellet making process. We have an in-house testing lab that screens incoming materials and ensures that the finished product is meets or exceeds our strict quality standards. The testing process is also matched with independent third party lab analysis, therefore, further ensuring high quality production.
Our products are manufactured using locally obtained materials resulting in a perfect blend 90% hardwood and 10% softwood.
Our Commitment to Innovation
Our research & development division prioritizes continuous innovation and improvement in regards to our manufacturing process. Ultimately, this means efficiency, exceptional product quality, and lower costs for our customers.
In addition to advancing the pellet manufacturing process, we are also committed to furthering in-house quality testing capabilities with our state-of-the art product testing labs. Our commitment to advancements in process and product engineering distinguishes us as an industry leader. These combined efforts led the Pellet Fuels Institute to formally recognize New England Wood Pellets as the first company to be designated as a PFI Certified Pellet Manufacturer.
